Why China is afraid of Iran’s future? A sharp decrease in economic ties

According to Mikrofonnews agency (MHA), Pedram Sultani, Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mining and Agriculture of Iran says China is afraid of Iran’s future and this is the reason that the country is pushing Iran to aside in its foreign policy day by day.

In an article “China is not optimistic about Iran’s future”, Sultani speaks about some of his own experiences during his recent trip to China. He says China has increased search of Iranian travelers to China in an unusual move and has closed the bank accounts of some Iranian companies.

China is speaking of the difficult conditions of working with Iranians and Chinese government has almost banned investments of Chinese companies in Iran recently, Sultani says.

Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mining and Agriculture of Iran says China has refrained to invest on the Iran’s oil fields slowly in the past 8 years, adding that China was the only country who opposed joining of Iran in the Shanghai treaty.

At the end Sultani says, China as a country with the intelligent economy policies in the world may know something about Iran’s future that is reluctant to invest in Iran.
