According to Mikrofonnews agency (MHA), Hassan Nasrullah, leader of Hezbollah in Lebanon says he supports Iran’s stand against “all internal, regional and international plots” in Iran, referring to the recent demonstrations in the country.
“We are sure that such moves will not shake the government of Islamic Republic of Iran. Hezbollah in Lebanon will stand beside the Islamic Republic of Iran, the same way as the government of Iran has been standing beside us and supporting us for many years”, said Hassan Nasrullah, in a message to the Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
The militants linked to the Hezbollah in Lebanon, who are getting military and political support from Iran, is designated as a terrorist group by the United States of America.
“We know how to defeat the servants and spies of the west who are trying to destroy the Islamic Republic of Iran and will gain the victory as we won in Syria” Hassan Nasrullah said.
Thousands of Iranians staged demonstrations in Iran, protesting rising prices and corruption in the government. Iran says America and Israel were behind the anti-government demonstrations, while American and Israeli officials deny the allegations.
Thousands of Iranians were arrested by the government forces during the 10-day lasted demonstrations across the Iran.
