Trump and May talked over “destructive role” of Iran in the region

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), U.S. President Donald Trump met Theresa May, Britain’s Prime Minister in the sideline of World’s Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday.

The meeting has been described as “wonderful conversation”. A joint statement released by Britain and America says two leaders have reaffirmed on the need of world’s cooperation against Iran.

“Both leaders have discussed the destructive role of Iran in the region, its missile programs and continuation of talks over preventing Iran from getting access to nuclear weapons”, a statement released by the May’s office says.

White House also issued a statement hours after the meeting, emphasizing on the importance of confronting with destructive role of Iran in the region.
