Transferred water to Yazd provinces is cut off

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), Iranian officials urged locals in Yazd province to avoid wasting water as the province water quota from the transferred line has decreased in the past several weeks.

The facilities have been damaged recently and repairing of it will take time so it is expected that people be more cautious about consuming water, local officials in Yazd province say.

Yazd gets half of its clean water from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province through a transferred line. The recent droughts and a decrease of rainfall have damaged parts of the line in the eastern parts of Isfahan.
