The US and North Korea’s leaders sign “comprehensive document”

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), the US President Donald Trump and North Korea’s Leader Kim Jong-un have signed a “document” on Tuesday following a one by one meeting in Singapore.

Details about the document have not been released yet but Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un both described it as a historic document. Some analysts say the document may include issues like human rights, sanctions and economic aids to North Korea.

The leaders said talks behind closed doors were successful and President Trump said ties between two countries will enter a completely different phase. Being asked about the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula by reporters, President Trump said the process will start very soon.

Meeting between both leaders started on Tuesday morning with both shaking hands warmly in front of the reporters. Both countries expressed hope the meeting will bring peace and stability to the region.
