Tear gas sprayed in a shopping center in Tehran amid protests

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), Iranian police have used tear gas inside a shopping center in Iran to disperse demonstrators on Tuesday, videos circulating in social media show the tear gas is sprayed inside a shopping center.

At least two people were wounded during demonstrations in Tehran on Tuesday, reports say. The circumstances under which these two were wounded is not clear so far.

despite warnings from Iranian judicial officials, demonstrations resumed in Tehran on Tuesday as many markets closed down to protest against economic policies of President Rouhani.

Gold market in Tehran was closed down in the early hours of Tuesday followed by several other shopping centers in the capital and some other cities like Arak, Kermanshah, and Tabriz.

Demonstrations were started on Sunday in protest of the devaluation of Iran’s Rial and increasing the price of imported goods in the Iranian markets.
