Syrian military bases hit by missiles

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), Syrian military sources confirm that several military headquarters were hit by missiles on Sunday night in the suburbs of Hamma and Aleppo.

Some sources say at least 40 people were killed and 60 others wounded during the attacks. Several Syrian military forces and their allies are among the fatalities, the sources say. According to some reports, at least 18 Iranian military forces, including a military commander by the name of Talal Mohammad, are among the dead.

The missiles have targeted buildings, which are said to be ammunition depots. This is not clear who fired the missiles so far. Some sources say the attacks may be carried out by the United States of America or Israel.

The attacks are carried out hours after Syrian and Russian military aircrafts conducted fresh airstrikes on the northern suburbs of Homs and southern parts of  Hamma.
