According to Mikrofonnews agency (MHA), scores of PYD/PKK terrorists are being deployed to Afrin, north of Syria, where Turkey launched a major military operation on Saturday.
Information obtained by Anadolu Agency from the reliable sources in the area shows the regime forces have paved the way for terrorists to use roads through the PYD-PKK-held Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood to deliver the reinforcements.
The regime has helped the terrorists to use Nubl and al-Zahra roads connecting center of Aleppo to Afrin to transfer weapons and aminations to Afrin, the source said. Turkey says the operation is carried out under the framework of Turkey’s rights based on international law, UN Security Council’s decisions and self-defense rights under the UN charter.
United States of America, who was sending weapons and military aid for PYD/PKK in Syria in the past one year has expressed concern over the military operation, but says understands Turkey’s concerns over the security of borders.
