Number of terrorists in Afghanistan tripled, challenge is serious/Afghan official

According to Mikrofon news agency (MHA), the number of terrorists in Afghanistan is tripled in the last 7 years, Hanif Atmar a National Security Advisor for Afghan government said on Thursday.

In a press conference in Kabul he said Afghanistan is not confronting with the local terrorists only but also a large number of foreign terrorists have entered the country recently.

“One of the every four terrorist, is a foreigner fighter”, he says.

The high profile Afghan official says foreign terrorists in Afghanistan have links with Al-Qaida, ISIS, or with the other terrorist networks like Uzbekistan Islamic Movements or the terrorist groups of Pakistan.

A sharp decrease in the number of the NATO forces in Afghanistan is blamed for the large presence of foreign terrorists in Afghanistan according to Atmar.

Security situation is deteriorating in Afghanistan recently the terrorist groups have declared a war against the government of Afghanistan backed by west.

National Security adviser Hanif Atmar has warned that terrorists are trying to enter to Central Asia through Afghanistan but he insists there is no safe haven for terrorists in Afghanistan blaming the central Asian countries for not having the courage to name the countries providing safe haven for terrorists.
