According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), Ramin Emami, son of Kavous Seyed Emami, who died in Evin prison last week, says his mother was investigated by intelligent agents before she was informed about the death of her husband.
Ramin Emami said his mother, Maryam Mombinini, was asked to got to the court and was investigated and threatened for around three hours before she was informed about the death of Emami. Emami’s wife was threatened to not speak with the media otherwise she will be arrested, according to her son.
Kavous Seyed Emami, Iranian-Canadian professor and environment activist was died in custody on Thursday night. Prison authorities say he has committed suicide, while his family says the death is suspicious.
