According to Mikrofon news agency (MHA), millions of Kyrgyz citizens cast their votes to select the new president of Kyrgyzstan.
Polling centers have been opened at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday with 2375 ballot boxes inside the country and another 37 out of the country, officials say.
Around 773 national and international observers watches the voting. The result is expected to be announced two hours after the voting finishes.
Election commission of Kyrgyzstan has announced around 3 million people are eligible to participate in the voting.
11 candidates are competing in the election and according to a survey Sooronbay Jeenbekov from ruling party and Omurbek Babanov leader of republic party in the parliament of Kyrgyzstan are the leading candidates.
