Japan’s PM visits Washington ahead of Trump-Kim meeting

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), ahead of a historic meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, Shinzo Abe, Japan’s Prime Minister has traveled to Washington to meet President Trump.

Meeting between Trump and Kim will be at the top of the agenda during the talks between Japan’s Prime Minister and the US president Donald Trump on Thursday. Two leaders will attend a press conference at the White House later on the day.

Japan has frequently urged the US to act with precautious over a possible decrease in pressures on North Korea and don’t trust easily the promises given by the other side during the negotiations.

Meanwhile, Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan has traveled to North Korea on Thursday to meet with North Korean leaders ahead of a meeting between Trump and Kim in Singapore. Singapore a small bur rich country in the east of Asia will host the meeting on July 12.
