Iranian student criticizes  Khamenei’s leadership in his presence

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), a female Iranian student has strongly criticized current situation of Iran during a meeting between Iran’s Supreme Leader and a group of university students.

Sahar Mehrabi has criticized corruption, economic and social problems, lack of freedom of speech and protest, suppression of the minorities, environmental problems and unemployment in Iran. She called for the accountability of Iran’s leaders, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

She also criticized Iran’s judiciary for interfering in the affairs of other branches of the government saying this has undermined national sovereignty. Mehrabi listed several other problems in the country including the functioning of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iran’s State Television, the organizations which are under the leadership of Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Mehrabi has also urged Iran’s Supreme Leader for doing some observations on the institutions. Reacting to the comments, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei accepted some of the criticisms while defended the overall performance of Iran’s regime.
