Iranian military commander killed in Syria : Reports

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), an Iranian commander has been killed in Syria on Friday, Iranian news agencies reported.

Shahrukd Dayipur a military commander of the Iranian forces in Syria was killed during clashes with Daesh members in Abu Kamal city, the reports say. He was from Kermanshah province and 15th member of the Iranian forces from the province who is killed in Syria war.

He is called “martyr” by the Iranian news agencies who is killed to defense the Shia’s holy shrines in Syria, according to the Iranian media.

Iran has sent thousands of military and foreign militant forces to Syria to fight beside Bashar Assad. The country is widely criticized for waging a proxy war in Syria which has killed tens of Iranian military forces and hundreds of Afghan militants who are sent by IRGC to Syria.
