Boeing will not deliver aircraft to Iran

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), Boeing has announced will not give any airplane to Iran due to recent sanctions imposed on Iran by the United States of America.

Iran had signed two big contracts with Boeing in 2015 while most of the sanctions on Iran was lifted due to Iran’s nuclear deal which was signed between Iran and six world powers.

According to the contract, Boeing was supposed to deliver 80 passenger jet aircraft to Iran Air and 30 Boeing 737 aircraft to Aseman Airways. A spokesman for Boeing company has confirmed that none of these aircraft have been delivered to Iran so far and the company considers the contracted as cancelled due to sanctions on Iran.

The US President Donald Trump terminated Iran’s nuclear deal on May 8, reimposing sanctions on the country. several foreign companies have halted activities in Iran since then.
