Arab activist dies due to torture in Iran’s prison

According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), a young citizen of Iran from Arab minority has died due to severe torture in a prison run by Iran’s intelligence service in the southwest of Iran.

Hatam Marmaz, 20, an Arab activist was arrested last year while returning home from a relative’s house in Malchia village. The family was searching for Hatam Marmaz as the intelligence office never released information about his arrest to his family.

After one year they called the family informing that Hatam Marmaz, father of a young child, is dead and the family was asked to come and take the body, according to reports.
