According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), all flights which were disrupted by heavy snowfall in Iran will return to normal within 3 days, Abbas Akhundi Minister of Roads and Urban Development in Iran said on Tuesday.
Parts of Iran were hit by heavy snow during the past three days, forcing the roads and schools to be closed and several flights to be canceled in different cities of Iran. Some highways in Tehran and outskirts have remained close, Akhundi says.
Meanwhile hundreds of passengers were waiting in Tehran’s airport on Tuesday, as several flights have been canceled again. Some of the angry passengers have written on big piece of papers “ We are volunteer to clean the snow from airports”, protesting the response of the government in solving the problem.
