According to Mikrofonnews Agency (MHA), Brian Hook, one of the senior advisors of the US State Departments says at least 50 companies have shown readiness to decrease trade ties with Iran.
He did not release more information about the companies. Washington’s aim is to gain more support from other countries over economic sanctions on Iran, said Hook, said adding that the US is trying to decrease Iran’s oil exports to zero.
He said the United States of America does not put pressure on Iran to change the regime of the country but to change the behavior of the Iranian leaders.
President Trump terminated Iran’s nuclear deal on May 8, giving a deadline of 90-180 days to all countries to follow sanctions on Iran. the last deadline is declared as November 4. Earlier US officials had urged oil consumers to stop buying oil from Iran.
